Redwood trees are among the tallest living things on Earth. But did you know they only stay upright because their roots intertwine with those around them? 🌲
Let's see the woods AND the trees!
Instead of growing deep, Redwood roots grow outward, wrapping around the roots of neighbouring trees — forming a strong, interdependent network underground.
They literally hold each other up.
Humans are no different.
We may feel like we have to tall on our own, but real strength often comes from connection — from allowing ourselves to be seen, supported, and bound together with others.
In a world that too often encourages isolation, let's remember: we are stronger together.
This is why I'm organising the UK's FRIENDLIEST picnic!
To bring strangers together, one chat at a time.

📍 Calverley Grounds Park, main grass area, Tunbridge Wells, UK (50 mins by train from London Bridge Railway Station)
Grab your picnic blanket, pack a sandwich & non-alcoholic drink (or don’t!), and come meet new people for an afternoon of friendly chats, sunshine (guaranteed!), and good vibes. Family friendly & pets welcome too (maybe not your goldfish?)
Remember: A stranger is simply someone you haven't said hello to yet!
